We call it static correction because the goal is not pain or punishment, it is clear communication at the lowest level your dog can notice. The app helps you find your dog's lowest detectable level. It also includes safety limits to help prevent overcorrection, and training is designed to reduce reliance on static as your dog learns.

Yes. Bark reduction is built into the DogVibe system. The collar is designed to detect unwanted barking and respond with consistent feedback, using tone, vibration, and correction settings you control. The goal is not to punish your dog for making noise. It is to help them understand when barking is not needed, especially in situations like the house, the yard, the car, hotels, or when they are reacting to something outside. Like the rest of DogVibe, the bark training is meant to be clear, consistent, and highly adjustable.

Yes. DogVibe is phone-controlled for everyday training, so you can use your phone for common moments like reinforcing recall, correcting unwanted behavior, turning on bark settings, or working on training around the house and yard. You'll also be able to use quick-access controls, like lock screen shortcuts, so you do not have to dig through the app every time you need to give feedback. For longer-range work, like off-leash recall, hikes, open fields, or proximity mode, the dedicated remote is included and recommended. Your phone is great for everyday close-range training, while the remote gives you the range and reliability you want when your dog is farther away.

Proximity mode lets you create a stay-close zone around the remote. You can keep the remote with you on an off-leash walk, or place it somewhere stationary like a campsite, picnic spot, or outside your tent. When your dog gets close to the boundary, DogVibe triggers the recall tone so they know to come back toward the remote. If they ignore it, the system can increase feedback through tone, vibration, and static correction until they turn back, helping them learn to stay within the area you set.

The planned Kickstarter system includes the DogVibe collar module, leash module, static correction module, remote, mobile app, and app-guided training. We'll be throwing in some charging cables and some other little bits and bobs as well.
